Location, it’s everything | Dallas-Fort Worth
Location, Location, Location.
That is one of the most important decisions when it comes to your photography shoot. No matter if its a maternity session, family session or a birthday, the location helps tell your story and what you look at when you proudly show off your family on your walls, social media and anywhere else that they may appear. This is going to be an on going list on some of my favorite locations to shoot and some images from those locations!
Blue Truck Location
My blue truck is a 1964 Chevy and is painted blue! This is my upmost favorite prop I have ever purchased. It “lives” on my parents land in Azle and is available whenever we want! The blue truck is perfect for maternity to milestones to family sessions. Can’t get any better! This is best in the evening as most of my sessions are.
Northwest Community Park
This park is a beautiful nature spot. It is located in Saginaw and I use this park quite a bit. It provides a beautiful backdrop at sunset and there is a lake towards the back that is fun to include in the background. Kimball Art Museum
This is an outdoor photography location. Can be done as laid back or as formal as you want to be. This is a popular spot for prom, homecoming and even bridal pictures! There are some beautiful spots with lots of stairs and big beautiful walkways. The Kimball is located in Fort Worth. https://kimbellart.org/
Trinity Park Location
A staple here in Fort Worth. One of my favorite places to go. It just has a beautiful backdrop all year round! Oh and there is a great playground called “DREAM” that is a great booster for those kids to keep smiling! https://www.fortworthtexas.gov/departments/parks/parks-and-trails/trinity-park
Decatur Pine Trees
This spot is so much fun. Very different from your ever day location. It is located in Decatur so a bit just outside the metroplex but so worth the drive. It’s where I did my family pictures in 2023! You can again keep is simple or dress it up. Perfect for everything from maternity to family! (Travel fee applies)
Creek in Flower Mound
Let’s talk about popular! It’s beautiful and quiet. Nestled in a neighborhood, you would never know it existed. In the summer it’s perfect. You can kick your shoes off, tip your toes in and and cool off a bit. In the winter…its still beautiful, just no toe tipping! (Travel Fee Applies)

Las Colinas Canals
Vintage is the name of the game here. Or it takes some back to Italy. Either way, it makes a beautiful backdrop for all sessions. Downtown Fort Worth
Urban, fun and different. We walk around downtown and just stop at all sorts of places. The best thing to know about this spot, it is best earlier in the evening or even afternoon! https://www.dfwi.org/
Tandy Hills
A beautiful location with rolling hills, tall grass and even a hint of Downtown Fort Worth in the background.
Stockyards
Want a country look…this spot is for you!!! (Parking fees do apply)
Chandor Gardens (Weatherford)
A beautiful garden tucked away in Weatherford, TX. They do charge a $50 fee but it is worth EVERY penny! Perfect for families, children and seniors!
