🌿 Celebrating a Family of Five 🌿

There’s something truly special about being able to walk alongside a family through all of their biggest milestones. When I get to capture their love and joy as they grow — not just once, but again and again — it’s the most rewarding part of being a photographer. This sweet family holds such a special place in my heart. I had the honor of photographing both of their first two babies, and now, as they prepare to welcome baby number three, I get to be part of yet another exciting chapter.

When Mom reached out and told me they were expecting again, my heart was so full! Planning their maternity session was extra special, because Mom knew exactly what she wanted — water. And of course, that’s what we made happen! It was the middle of a hot Texas summer, but the evening couldn’t have been more perfect. The warm golden light, the water glistening under the sunset, and the joy this family brought made it such a dreamy session.

What I love about maternity sessions is the mix of anticipation and love that fills every moment. Mom was glowing in the most beautiful way, radiating joy as she awaits her third little one. She was absolutely stunning by the water — peaceful, strong, and so full of love. Dad was right there by her side, supportive and proud, as always. Together, they make such an incredible team, and you can see the love they’ve built reflected in their kids.

Big sister was all about being in front of the camera. She loved every second of it, showing off her sweet personality and excitement about becoming a big sister again. Big brother, on the other hand, was a little shy, but oh my goodness — he was adorable! The mix of their personalities made the session so much fun. That balance of spunky energy and quiet sweetness brought such authenticity to the photos.

As the evening went on, the light softened into that dreamy glow photographers love so much. The water reflected the warm sky, creating the perfect backdrop for this family’s story. Even though it was hot — because let’s be honest, Texas summers always are — it didn’t matter. The joy and love of this family outshined everything else.

Sessions like this remind me why I do what I do. It’s not just about creating pretty pictures (though we certainly did that!); it’s about telling a family’s story. From their very first baby to now their third, I’ve had the privilege of capturing their journey, and I can’t wait to meet their newest addition soon. I know this baby will be surrounded by so much love, laughter, and joy.
