Some sessions feel straight out of a fairy tale — and Destiny’s prom photo shoot at the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth was exactly that. As one of my amazing Chunky Monkey Senior Reps, Destiny has been a joy to photograph all year, and her prom session was the perfect celebration of style, confidence, and a once-in-a-lifetime night.

Wearing a gorgeous royal blue gown that shimmered in the light, Destiny truly looked like a modern-day princess. Every step, every smile, every twirl in front of the museum’s iconic architecture was pure magic.

And yes — her sweet boyfriend joined us for a few photos too, and the chemistry and cuteness were off the charts!

A Perfect Location for a Perfect Look

The Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth is a favorite prom photo location for a reason — sleek lines, beautiful natural light, and just enough drama to elevate any look. Destiny’s bold blue gown popped against the soft stone of the museum’s exterior, giving us the perfect contrast for elegant, editorial-style images.

She was completely in her element — confident, radiant, and so full of life. Every pose felt like a scene from a movie, and we made sure to capture the full range: full-length glam, soft close-ups, dramatic twirls, and playful candids.

Princess Vibes Only

Destiny’s dress was a showstopper — rich blue satin, delicate details, and a silhouette that screamed “PROM QUEEN ENERGY.” With hair and makeup on point and her smile lighting up every shot, she looked like she stepped straight out of a royal ball.

We leaned into the fairytale feel with classic posing, soft wind-blown shots, and a few timeless black-and-whites that gave her that “cover of a fashion magazine” vibe.

A Sweet Couple, A Special Night

Midway through the shoot, Destiny’s boyfriend joined us, and the dynamic shifted into something even more special. There’s something so sweet about documenting high school love during such a milestone event like prom — especially when the couple is clearly having so much fun together.

They laughed, hugged, danced a little, and created the kind of memories they’ll look back on for years. Whether they were walking hand-in-hand or sharing a quiet smile, their connection was effortless and real.

As a 2025 Senior Rep for Chunky Monkey Photography, Destiny has absolutely rocked her year. From her initial headshots to her seasonal shoots and now her prom portraits, she’s brought enthusiasm, energy, and genuine kindness to every session.
