It feels like just yesterday this little guy was in the studio for his newborn session—and now he’s sitting up on his own! Watching Chunky Monkey Photography newborns grow into their next milestones is one of the best parts of my job, and this sweet boy’s 6-month sitter session in Azle, TX was full of heart.

We met in a soft, sunlit field in Azle, a favorite spot for outdoor milestone sessions. The light was golden, the grass was glowing, and this handsome little man was all smiles (and a few serious faces, too). At six months old, every expression is priceless—each one showing off a bit more of that blossoming personality.
As a Fort Worth baby photographer, I love milestone sessions because they celebrate so much growth in such a short amount of time. Those tiny rolls, bright eyes, and curious glances are moments you’ll want to remember forever. This age is pure magic—right between newborn snuggles and first steps, full of discovery and joy.

It’s always extra special when a Chunky Monkey newborn returns for their sitter session. You can see just how much they’ve grown since those sleepy newborn days, and it’s amazing to look back at their first photos and see how much personality has bloomed.
This little guy had fun sitting in the grass, grabbing his toes, and flashing the cutest smiles for mom and dad. Keeping the setup simple—just a baby, a field, and natural light—lets the focus stay right where it belongs: on your growing child and all the love surrounding them.

If your baby is nearing that six-month mark, now is the perfect time to book a sitter session! These milestone sessions capture a stage that passes far too quickly. At Chunky Monkey Photography, we specialize in baby, child, and family photography across Azle, Fort Worth, and the DFW area, creating timeless images that your family will cherish forever.
And don’t forget—CMP newborns receive their sitter sessions half off as part of our thank-you for growing with us!
Watching our little clients reach new milestones is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. From those first tiny yawns to the proud moment they sit tall all by themselves, we’re honored to capture every stage along the way.
