There is something so special about an in-home lifestyle newborn session. Your home is where your family’s story begins, and there’s no better place to capture those first precious days with your newest little one.

This beautiful family welcomed me into their home for a relaxed newborn session, and despite the rainy weather outside, everything came together perfectly.

Mother Nature had other plans that day. The skies were dark, the rain rolled in, and all that beautiful natural light disappeared. But that’s one of the reasons I always come prepared! I brought my professional studio lighting along, transforming their home into the perfect space for bright, timeless newborn portraits. Looking through their gallery, you’d never know it was a gloomy, rainy day outside.

One of the biggest stars of the session was big brother.

He was absolutely adorable and so easygoing! He jumped right into the session with the sweetest smile, making family and sibling portraits feel effortless. His gentle personality made every moment even more special, and he couldn’t have been more proud of his new sibling.

Of course, we also captured beautiful moments with both big brother and big sister, and their love for the newest member of the family was impossible to miss. The cuddles, gentle kisses, and proud smiles spoke louder than words ever could. You could tell they were completely in love with their new baby, and those moments created some of the most meaningful images from the entire session.
