Meet Little Sister

When you are pregnant with your second, you start wondering how your oldest is going to take to the baby. Are they going to love the baby? Are they going to resent the baby? It’s a natural thought for all moms and dads. This big sister was excited from day one and she is still so tiny herself. Come check out the session with me!

Meet Big Sister

I met this Big Sister at her newborn session. She was such a tiny thing, and when you see her…she still is! But she is oh so cute and has the best personality. When she got to the studio she introduced me to HER baby! She was so proud and excited to show her off. When I asked her if she was ready to take pictures with her, she was ready to go. She snuggled up and smiled away at my camera. When it came to family pictures, she was all about giving her kisses to her little sister. I can’t wait to watch this little pair grow up and become the best of friends.

Little Sister in Purple

Mom and Dad are the sweetest people you will meet. It doesn’t take long to see why their little girl is so darling. Mom wanted to keep things simple and perfect for the newborn session. She picked out a light purple blanket for the backdrop for little sisters newborn posing. Some times newborns take a bit of time to get comfortable and change from pose to pose but little sister was just as comfortable as could be. We even caught a few smiles from her which is something all parents want to get lucky with!

Picking the perfect props

When it came time for mom and dad to pick props for their newborn, it was quite easy! They chose to go with the Boho corner which is one of my personal favorites. Just snuggled right in and slept thru it all. Her skin was beautiful and you can really tell thru her whole newborn session. The second prop they picked was the shelf. Nothing better than to put their beautiful baby girl with the stars!

Picking Little Sisters Name

I got to meet up with this amazing family for a few family pictures and maternity images at Stem and Light in Waxahachie,TX. Such a beautiful location and we had a beautiful night. At the end, they had such a fun way of picking the babies name by putting all their favorite names in the box and drew for the #1 name and I caught it on my camera! Meeting Baby Aubrey was amazing and so much fun.

The E family is so sweet and I love hanging out with them. Tons of laughs and you can tell, a lot of love. I look forward to watching both little and big sister grow up. It’s the one of the best parts of my job. Like I will always say, when you come to Chunky Monkey Photography, your family!
