Welcoming #3

Getting to walk thru life with a couple is such a perk of the job.  Being there to watch them welcoming each newborn home and watching them grow up together is just fun.  I know that every time I see them there will be a lot of laughter and lots of giggles.  Oh….and maybe some chasing around going on! Come meet this family of 5 with me!

Welcoming this amazing family and their 3rd Newborn

I met this amazing couple back when they were pregnant with their first born.  We had their maternity session in a field of flowers and it was as perfect as it could be.  They had their first newborn session with me in my first in-home studio.  He was little but strong! They were welcoming their second, a daughter.  Pretty as a flower.  They got to bring her to a new studio on some property I had in Azle.  Now, this little guy had his newborn session in yes, the third studio at my home just North of Fort Worth in Weatherford.  No matter where we were, how small or big the newborn studio was, these babies were just perfect and their newborn sessions came out beautifully.

Good Luck with Welcoming their next one

The first thing mom said to me was “good luck with getting sister to sit down, she’s fast!”.  Well, after some bribing, maybe a little trickery and some good ole “pleases”, she sat down, helped big brother hold their new baby.  Even with a smile on her face.  Now, big brother had no problem showing off his learned skills on how to be a big brother.  He knew his job and he was welcoming her with open arms.  Now, on to family photos.  Easy peasy.  Everyone knew what to do, how to snuggle in and even how to give some loving to that sweet baby.  Here’s the best part.  Look how beautiful mama looks! I remember 2 weeks after my birth and there was NO way I was put together like this.  Hair done, make up on, does not even look like she gave birth.

Hold on to those little things, newborns don’t keep

Mama bought in the same little outfit that we used for big brother when he was oh so little.  It was quite big on this little but he still looked just as adorable in it.  Blue is his color for sure.  We had to put him on the swing with this cute hat too, we were in love! Our big prop was putting him into dads baseball glove.  We did the same type of shoot with brother as well but we changed things up a bit and I love how simple it was and it came out just like we wanted.

I have had a blast over the years watching these sweet babies be welcomed into the world and I can’t wait to watch them continue to grow.  Maybe we will see another one welcomed in a few years (hint hint, they make cute babies!).  Thanks for trusting Mrs. Heather with your most valuable things in life.  It’s an honor.
