Baby Times Two

Let’s talk about a baby. Let’s talk about 2 babies.  You first think it’s twins.  You lay in the room during your ultra sound and you see two.  Two babies on the screen.  Life just got more fun.  But, let’s talk about these two babies.  Brother and sister but not twins.  Life throws curve balls at ya but man, they sure are cute! 

Meet Kendra

When she emailed me asking for a newborn session for two and that the newborns were two weeks apart, I could not wait to hear the story.  When she arrived at the studio, she had two newborns and three older girls.  She brought all of them by herself.  They were all dressed the cutest for sure. I was overly impressed and couldn’t wait to get started.  Now here is the best part.  She is their AUNT!  These 5 littles are her life and she ROCKS doing it.  

How are they connected? 

So all of these kiddos and babies are all brothers and sisters in one way or another.  It was a cool connection between all of them and they love each other so much.  The oldest sister was just like a little mama.  She kept everyone in check and did such a great job of it.  Just take a look at some of these pictures, you can feel the love thru the picture! 

Together 

So these two babies are brother and sister and were born two weeks apart.  They did not spend the 9 months in the womb together so laying next to each other like this was something new for them.  But they did so well.  Brother was just fine that sister wanted to snuggle.  How adorable are they? 

She decided that we would just hang out asleep for most of the shoot.  She has such beautiful skin! She also wore her crown just perfectly and she loved snuggling up with the sheep.  Now, she did pop those eyes open when she laid next to her brother but man, it is my favorite image from their whole session.

Baby Brother 

Sleep was not on his agenda but that was okay.  His sweet expressions were the best and I loved capturing his personality that shined through his eyes.  He did love to relax his body when he was nice and swaddled, he was just peaceful!  And of course he loved to snuggle his sister! Who wouldn’t? 

Having these newborns and kiddos in the studio was amazing.  The connection between every single person was just unbelievable.  I can’t wait to see them again when these sweet babies are six months old.  Gonna see some amazing personalities out of these babies!

If you are having a newborn soon, please don’t delay in getting in contact with Chunky Monkey for your newborn session.  And as always, you don’t pay more just because you have multiples.  There is enough “extras” in taking care of them, no need to add it to pictures!
